The Week Wines Dinners

Following the success of our wine pairing dinners earlier this year, we're excited to announce two upcoming events at Noizé, the exciting new French restaurant owned by Mathieu Germond, former co-owner and manager of Michelin starred Pied à Terre.

These events are a fascinating way to explore wines from a certain region and learn about the history of the estates they come from. These wines will be paired with a four course dinner. meticulously designed by Mathieu Germond.  Throughout the evening you will be able to speak to the winemaker and meet other like-minded guests.

October Event
On Tuesday 16th October 2018, Paulin Calvet will join us from Château Picque Caillou, one of the leading estates in Pessac-Léognan. Owners Paulin and Isabelle Calvet not only live at the Château, but are deeply involved in the day to day running of the vineyards and wine making. They produce a wine of great depth and beauty, a style that is classic, elegant and full of charm. Paulin will be presenting a selection of wines from his cellar - an evening not to be missed for any fan of Bordeaux wines.

November Event
On Tuesday 13th November 2018, Nicolas Bureau will join us from the Glenelly Estate.  In 2003, May de Lencquesaing – then owner of the famous  Bordeaux Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande – purchased the Glenelly Estate in Stellenbosch. Nicolas Bureau, her grandson, will be hosting the evening. Glenelly wines reflect an old world style; so much so that many, if tasted blind, would likely be placed in France. A great opportunity to explore wines from the southern hemisphere.

Dates: Tuesday 16th October or Tuesday 13th November 2018
Time: 6.30pm-11pm
Location: Noizé, 39 Whitfield Street, London, W1T 2SF
